  If you're looking for somewhere to hideout until the ice age passes, this is it. By the time you get a drink you'll wish you went elsewhere. However, security are nice and its a good looking venue. 10 dollar schooners, bit steep for liquid gold. Jugs better value. As in beer, not the mammary glands. There's some little metal tins on the wall next to a chesterfield couch perhaps old tobacco tins. Thats a cool touch. Pretty trendy. Otherwise a nice venue for a good night out. Edit. Had more beers and seen the D floor. Pumping. now 4 stars. Nice.

  $6 steaks on Mondays, $15 for a porterhouse cut and house red/stubby. The selection of hot sauces are amazing. The steaks are sometimes average, sometimes done perfectly, and always a good deal.

  A tried and true Fitzroy local which has had a bit of a hit-and-miss history in my experience and can feel a little tired. I would ordinarily rate it 3 stars however the addition of the rooftop bar has given this venue a new lease on life. There is a simple rooftop menu of very tasty finger food with a good wine and beer selection and inner city views. Seems a good hangout in any weather - plenty of shelter and heaters in the cold and a breezy, water misted, escape in the heat of summer.
