Northern Beaches transfers return: $22 per adult, $11 per child. (Currently unavailable)

    What an amazing day out! The tour was fantastic and our guide Ben was an amazing wealth of interesting trivia and information.

    What a jam packed day! Kerry picked us up exactly on time. He was informative & knowledgeable. Also very mindful of all his passenger's individual limitations. The itinerary is just as stated so no hidden surprises. Lots more walking than expected but not a problem if the weather is mild (it was extremely hot the day we went). We would happily have given this tour 5 stars but the lunch was extremely disappointing, at best 4/10. We had steak, ordered medium rare, got well done. Tough & barely edible. Everyone else on our tour seemed happy enough with theirs, so we may have just been unlucky on the day. The icecream was also just o.k. Very satisfied to have taken this tour. Slept well!! Thank you.

    I highly recommend this tour, our guide Ben is very knowledgeable and informative! Thanks Ben we learnt heaps and got to experience the Gorge and the Daintree.

    7:20am pick-up until 4:00pm return - What a wonderfully inclusive, fully-guided day! We traversed the boardwalks of Mossman Gorge, spotted crocodiles as we cruised Cooper Creek, walked through & awed at the magnificent Daintree Rainforest and remote Cape Tribulation and enjoyed a delicious lunch in a 'tucked-away' rainforest restaurant. Ben, our driver & tour guide, shared throughout our day, his passionate interest & knowledge about these World Heritage sites. Our final treat for the day was indulging in home-made icecream made from some rather exotic fruits. We would not have discovered all of these special, beautiful places without this well organised 'Daintree Tour!' Highly recommended indeed.

    We booked through Calypso - Kerry from DT collected us at 7am after which we picked up 7 others and headed for the Daintree. A guided walk through the rainforest then to Cape Tribulation for morning tea. We cruised on Cooper Creek spotting crocodiles before heading to lunch at “on the turps” . En route to Mossman Gorge we stopped at the Daintree ice cream shop (wattle seed, soursop, dragon fruit and other exotic tastes). No need for dinner after all the eating. Mossman Gorge was awe inspiring- we couldn’t go the whole way as someone had fallen so the track was closed. Do take your costume as the swimming hole is beautiful…. I’m sorry we didn’t. I don’t think we could have seen all we did without Kerry’s guidance. A wonderful day with an awesome guide!

    Our driver and tour guide, Steve, was the best! So knowledgeable & interesting to listen to. I learnt so much from him. He was so passionate about his job and making sure we had a great day. Just a small group of 8 ppl in the van & we all got along great for the day. Our morning tea and lunch were yummy, especially the barramundi for lunch. Would highly recommend.

    We have just returned from a week in Cairns and this is one of the first activities we did. And the kids are still talking about it! Down Under Tours are really easy to deal with. They are professional, responsive and understood our needs. We were a group of three adults, three seniors and three kids. We all enjoyed this trip. Stimulating, engaging and interesting for three energetic kids, making it so easy for the adults on the tour to enjoy the amazing scenery. Our guide Peter was terrific. So knowledgable. The day was well planned out. We were taken to some truly amazing locations where we could enjoy the beauty of it all as it was. I really recommend this trip for all ages and interest.

    What a wonderful day we had on Wednesday exploring the Daintree and seeing Cape Tribulation for the first time. Special mention to our awesome guide Ben. Super knowledgeable, friendly, chatty & enthusiastic. We couldn’t have asked for better! Ben is genuinely passionate about the area he lives & works in. A real credit to Daintree Tours. We loved the ferry crossing, the misty morning at Alexandra Lookout. Lovely morning tea at Thornton beach followed by a boat ride on Cooper Creek with Ernie. While the weather was a bit too cool for crocs to pop their heads up it was still great with Ernie chatting away telling stories. The guided rainforest walk was great & we learned things we never knew about rainforest plants & creatures. Lunch at Heritage Park was delicious as was the ice cream from Daintree Icecream. Who knew wattle-seed ice cream would be so tasty!! Our final stop was Mossman Gorge - so pretty. Thanks for a brilliant day Ben!

    What a beautiful part of this country that I have always overlooked. Walking through the oldest rainforest area in the world, you realise just how small we really are. It's a wake up call to demand it's protection for the flora & fauna that live & visit there and future generations of visitors to come. Morning tea was yum and lunch & the Heritage Lodge was healthy and filling. The ice cream stop for the "suprise flavours" was indeed surprising and also delicious. I've done a far bit of international travel and been on many tours but I can honestly say, on my recent tour with Steve was one of the best I've experienced. Prompt, professional, funny and his passion for this region is obviously in the way he conducts the tour. I would highly recommend Daintree Tours to anyone and thanks again Steve.
