At The Italian Bar Pizza in Willoughby on Sydney\u2019s North Shore we believe that eating is one of life\u2019s great pleasures and that every meal is an opportunity to nourish ourselves. It\u2019s why we make our woodfired pizza with stoneground, wholewheat, organic Australian flour. We ferment our dough for three days using a natural mother starter, which pre digests gluten and starch. Essentially, it\u2019s the same process used to make sourdough bread. The end result is Roman style pizza that is delicious and better for you. Whilst we are known for our woodfired pizza, our menu also features a selection of small dishes, classic Italian pastas and desserts also. Our ethos also extends to our wine list which is mostly organic, biodynamic & low intervention. Because in our opinion grapes free of chemicals produce better tasting wine and maybe less hangover too.
