  Downstairs at lunchtime it's a scruffy place, with Irish memorabilia on the walls and a feeling that it's been here in this incarnation, with these rugby shirts on the wall, for some time. However, scruffiness isn't a bad thing, and this place would be less good if it were perfect inside. The Guinness is in excellent condition (somehow) and for a taste of Ireland you can't go far wrong.

  Nice place with great food and beer. I ordered a medium Porterhouse steak and a pint of Kilkenny beer. I will definitely come back to Irish Murphy's when I visit Brisbane.

  The only bar we went to in Brisbane. $19 for 2 pints. Not sure if this is average. But seemed steep. Great looking place though

  Beautiful historical building with interesting antiques displayed throughout. Fantastic place to meet up with friends for a few well priced drinks and a night of dancing to awesome live bands on ground level or explore the parlour rooms upstairs, furnished with couches to sit and chat in comfort, opening onto verendahs to catch the breeze and enjoy the view. Downstairs has a pokies area. Bars and toilets available on all three levels ensure no waiting in long line ups. Friendly, fun and efficient staff ensure your time at this venue is enjoyable. Atmosphere of this venue keeps me coming back as often as possible. All ages from 18 to 80 seem comfortable frequenting this exciting venue.
